Celebrities are a major part of our modern society. We all look up to them and think that we know everything about them. But a lot of them have interesting talents and hobbies that aren’t well known to the general public. These are just a few of the celebrities with interesting things filling up their free time.

We all know Bruce Willis as the action star who blows things up and beats the mess out of people on-screen on a constant basis. Action movies almost aren’t complete without seeing Bruce Willis do something awesome. What most people don’t know is that Bruce Willis is a mean harmonica player. He also has a soft side, especially when it comes to his daughters. His daughter Rumer Willis competed on “Dancing with the Stars” in season 20, and she brought the man of steel to tears on multiple occasions.

Matthew Gray Gubler

This man is different than most male actors in Hollywood today. Starting at a very young age this man knew he wanted to entertain. After going to college at NYU for directing, he got into acting as well, his most well-known role being the adorable genius Spencer Reid from the hit series “Criminal Minds”. But not many people know the other creatively odd talents and hobbies this guy has. He enjoys painting, drawing, making stuffed animals, jump roping, and many other odd things, including doing voice overs. Not everyone knows this, but Matthew is the voice of Simon from the “Alvin and the Chipmunks” movies. He is a bit of an oddball, but that is why we all love him.

Simon Cowell

We all know him as the judge who doesn’t sugar coat anything from the talent competition shows “X Factor”, “Britain’s Got Talent”, and “America’s Got Talent”. He seems very stick straight and hardcore, but who knew that this intense talent judge had a childish side? Simon Cowell has a love for climbing trees. He feels that it is good exercise and a good way to spend quality time with his children. But that doesn’t change the mental image we all have now of the scary British judge swinging from a tree like a monkey.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has been a standing figure in Hollywood for a while now. You wouldn’t think that she would have any time to do anything with her hectic schedule of sold-out venues, but the little time she does have, she enjoys making snow globes! This takes the term collection to a whole new level. She enjoys making them personalized and giving them as Christmas gifts. Who knew that this pop sensation had such a quirky hobby?

This woman is a perfect example that you can do whatever you put your mind to. She has tackled roles from the little innocent Amy Juergens from “The Secret Life of The American Teenager” to hardcore action roles like Tris Prior in the “Divergent” series. But she also does other awesome things other than acting. She has recently been participating in a lot of protests for projects she feels passionate about. But she also is a big proponent for living off the land and being as natural as possible. She makes her own toothpaste, medicines, and some foods like cheese from natural ingredients. She shows that not all celebrities live glamorously all of the time, while still being one of the most beautiful stars in Hollywood.
