As one of the first rock stars, Berry sculpted rock and roll, turning it into his own style and making it what it is today. In 1985, he received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement award. A year later, in 1986, he became the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s first inductee. Keith Richard’s has called him the man who started it all, and that’s very true. He will be remembered as a pioneer of music and a revolutionary figure of pop culture.
