On August 26th, the biggest boxing event of the century took place. “The Notorious” Conor McGregor, the biggest fighter of the UFC, took on the undefeated champion of boxing, Floyd “Money” Mayweather. After months of hype,  preparation, and trash-talk, millions tuned in to watch the fight. Anticipation was hot. Mayweather weighed in at 149.5 with McGregor at 153. These two titans were sure to rock the arena. As the match began, McGregor started out hot. With limited action from Mayweather, he was able to land a few hits, even a strong uppercut. But as the rounds progressed, McGregor began to lose his speed. That’s when Mayweather made his move. He came in hard, with a relentless barrage of hooks, each landing with intensity. McGregor quickly lost his confidence. By round seven, it was Mayweather’s fight. In the tenth round by TKO. Regardless of the winner, it was a great fight. This match seals Mayweather’s perfect record, 50-0.
