Walking at night I feel uneasy
As if someone is following behind me
Watching every move I make
Although, there’s no one there
Darkness envelopes the world
Nothing, but street lights in view
Dawn is far from now
Nowhere is safe from the night
I feel shivers up my back
Presence hidden in shadow
Eyes staring from afar
Privy to my weary soul
Through alleys and streets
Making my way home
Those feelings still haunting me
Maybe I’ll escape it’s gaze
