Dress Code: NO HATS, no bandanas, no sunglasses. Shirts or jewelry with pictures or sayings that imply racism, sex, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, etc., are unacceptable. Tops must meet at or below the pant/skirt line, and must have a wide strap or sleeve; shorts or skirts/dresses must not be too short; HIS/HER PICTURE WILL NOT BE IN THE YEARBOOK OR WILL BE CROPPED APPROPRIATELY. Take all the photos you want for yourself and your family, but their yearbook photo MUST comply with the above guidelines.
Recommendation: Yearbook photos are cropped to print a wallet-size template. Knowing that your photo will be small, you should choose a photo that is taken close up. A full-body photo can make your head look tiny and it is harder to see your face in the yearbook. You don’t have to necessarily choose a traditional head and shoulders photograph but consider choosing something a little close.
Jones photography will be on campus on November 15th for any student who needs a senior photo or honor grad photo. They will charge a $25 sitting fee. This is only for students who have not had a chance to take senior photos or are looking for a more affordable option. If you are interested in signing up for this senior mini-session, please email [email protected]
Honor Graduate Photos
Honor Photo: Your senior needs an honor photo ONLY IF:
- They have a 3.5 GPA or higher
- They anticipate having a 3.5 by the end of the school year (3.0-3.49 currently)
- This is separate from, and in addition to, the yearbook picture.
- Students must wear a nice outfit that is predominantly black in color.
- Boys are not required to wear a tie for the picture but they should be in a collared shirt.
- The dress code, as stated above, must be followed.
- THEY must tell the studio that they need:
- an INSIDE photo with a backdrop that is solid/gradient in a charcoal/dark grey color. (No outside photos)
- A headshot (head and shoulders picture)
- Tux/drapes are not required, but some studios do make them available upon request. – we recommend using these.
- Your photographer needs to submit it by email [email protected].

Purchasing a Yearbook
You can buy your yearbook at https://yearbookforever.com/
**ALL YEARBOOKS WILL BE PURCHASED ONLINE**
Yearbooks are $50 if ordered before Christmas! On January 1, yearbooks jump to $65.
We highly recommend that seniors purchase the “home delivery” option, which is an additional $8. Our books do not arrive on campus until late July and we do not hand them out to underclassmen until the 1st day of school. Having the book delivered to your home will help to make sure that you receive your book in a timely manner.
If you do not choose the home delivery option, you will have to schedule a time to come back to campus to pick up your book and the timing will be at the discretion of the yearbook staff.
**Save your receipt! Do not delete the emailed receipt. You may need your receipt if there are issues with your order.**
We look forward to working with you this school year. If you need examples or suggestions as you choose a yearbook photo please feel free to email us at [email protected]. Please remember that this is a student-run yearbook and that we only meet for one class period each day. We will do our best to answer your questions as soon as possible but give us at least 24 hours to respond.
