Alorah Sullivan

Alorah Sullivan, Staff Writer - The Mane Tale Yearbook

Sophomore Alorah Sullivan is interested in archery.

Sullivan loves the thrill of pulling the arrow back, aiming and shooting.

“I'm a fan of The Hunger Games and thought it was cool to try shooting on my own like the people in the movie,” Sullivan said.

She does not want to do any national or international games, she just wants to go to the school games and have fun with her friends. Alorah has a genesis compound bow, she is good with handling it and she’s good at aiming at the target.

“Shooting an arrow is easy and all you have to do for all the right handed people is hold the bow, pull the string back with your right hand and aim with your left hand,” said Sullivan.

The funniest/embarrassing thing she has ever done during archery games she said was when she fell during tourney tripping over her shoe.

Alorah said “nobody noticed, luckily.”
