Hey, what’s up dude!
My name is Andrew, and I’m a guy who can dream, the type of guy who will think of ideas for hours and hours on end, and get absolutely NOTHING done in the process! The type of guy, the type of guy that just – just loves to use a nearly infinite inventory of stupidity, (it’s truly a gift I might add,) and I use such a gift to make funny, quirky, and sometimes downright miserable stories. I don’t feel like writing poetry, I mean I could, shrug, but, to me, the boundary between prose and poetry is very, very, extremely, fluid; More times than not my prose often will come out read like poetry, and the poetry I formulate is spoken as prose.
I also love music, I love playing music, I love listening to music, I love making music, and I love talking about music, obviously. Music is my life and life is my music, I think. My favorite band/artist? I don’t care to label but I will anyways so my favorites are Frank Zappa, Tyler the Creator, Radiohead, Bill Evans, Avenged Sevenfold, Type O Negative, Black Sabbath, Slipknot, MF Doom, Wu Tang Clan, Pink Floyd, blah blah blah. I love so many others though that I would have to make a top hundreds list only to be slightly satisfied. My instrument of choice is the electric guitar, with my genre of preference being heavy metal or jazz. I dabble in all sorts of different musical instruments though, such as banjo, piano, cello (though I do not own one yet,) mandolin, classical guitar, and acoustic guitar.
Pumping iron is my third or fourth favorite thing to do… maybe even my fifth on off days! I love, and I mean really really love lifting really, really heavy things. I love running cross-country in the wilderness, whether that be in forests, parks, etc. The combination of my love of nature and my addictive relationship with physical exercise gives me the exciting hobby of running until the point of total exhaustion surrounded by beautiful oak-trees and elms, the wry squeals of crows, the hymns of songbirds, the sky above and the coarse dirt packed below my shoes. Anyways, my favorite spots are through game-trails and dry riverbeds where I can fully immerse myself in a natural environment without the need for man-made paths. Land-between-the-lakes offers a lot of good spots to run for miles on end without ever being very crowded..
