Natalee Hicks is a junior at McCracken County High School. She was born in Paducah, Kentucky, and she attended Lone Oak Elementary and Middle Schools. Hicks says she’s always enjoyed writing and uses it to cope with her struggles. Her favorite teacher is Mrs. Ford, an English teacher. When I asked her who encouraged her to write, she said her parents. “They’ve always really liked my writing and told me it was good,” she says.   She likes watching the hit Netflix show, Outerbanks, and medical shows like Nightwatch.
