This is Sydney Clevidence, 17, and a senior.

She would describe herself as a leader for others, a social and creative person in so many ways. Students saw her creativity in action at the beginning of the year when she made a mindmap for her Yearbook class so every member could present their ideas for the book in one spot.

Clevidence's favorite memory from school sources from eighth grade, when she attended Drum Corps International (DCI) for the first time and got to watch Santa Clara Vanguard perform for the first time. "Going to DCI changed me quite a lot... it sparked a new passion for music in my life,” she says. She plays percussion in the McCracken County band and likes to read, oftentimes spending time in the library when she can.

The band is her biggest passion that she does, but she is also involved in numerous volunteer-based groups, including the National Honors Society, Beta Club, Paducah Bank Ambassadors, and the McCracken County Student Government (of which she is even president).
