A Magical Day with FCCLA

A Magical Day with FCCLA

Over 100 young princesses and their moms attended the first annual FCCLA “Mommy and Me Princess Tea.” The FCCLA Families First is a national peer education program through which youth gain a better understanding of how families work as they learn skills to become strong family members.  Its goals are to help youth become strong family members, leaders for today and tomorrow, and strengthen the family as the basic unit of society.

A planning committee was formed early in the year and met several times to host the perfect party.  Participants were able to take pictures with princesses, make handprint castles, have their nails and lips painted, go to “princess school” and dance in a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo dance studio.  Relationships were strengthened and memories were made.  To join FCCLA, talk to a chapter member or FCS teacher.
