Here at MCHS our football and basketball programs get lots of attention, but some of our other programs are fantastic. Including the tennis team, a bunch of hardworking students who work hard out on the tennis court everyday. The tennis team has some of the most state titles won by a McCracken program. They also have a state runner up title. But it is just the beginning of the season for the tennis team as Emily Dew says: “Well we are just getting started. The girls have a preseason scrimmage with Harpeth Hall from Tennessee this last Saturday and we did great!!!!! We start with a preseason tournament this weekend in Elizabethtown. Then the season starts after that!”

As you already know this is a very winning program. With 2 state titles and 1 runner up title. Emily Dew explains the wins that this program has won. “We have won 2 state titles since the school opened in 2013. We have won regionals every year of existence. Michelle McKamey was awarded the state title in 2014 (the first season as MCHS. Tommy Hagan and Logan McKinney won state in doubles in 2015.”
