Makensie Ellerman is the daughter of Jeff and Kelli Ellerman. Right now Makensie is employed by Lone Oak Elementary School as an after school childcare worker. Makensie is an FBLA (Future Business Leaders Of America) member as well as a member of the National Honor Society and FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). Makensie is involved in the Environmental Club at MCHS. She is also a student government senior representative. Makensie is director of public relations for the Beta Club and also is the vice president of the community service club. Being a part of the community service club has given her the opportunity to do a ton for her community as well as other countries. Makensie has gone on three different mission trips to El Salvador with other students from MCHS. She has worked at the Starfish Orphan Ministry booth at Barbeque on the River. For MCHS, Makensie worked trunk-or-treat and she has picked up trash left in the MCHS parking lots. Makensie has been a part of Christmas in the Park at Noble Park, Groceries for Good, and Acts of Compassion at Heartland.

Makensie is planning on majoring in nursing at the University of Kentucky and has been accepted into the Pre-Nursing program.
