Sarah Jane DeWeese is the daughter of Dr. Fredrick Thane DeWeese and Sandra Leinart DeWeese. Sarah is on the Varsity Soccer Team, and a member of the 4-H Sewing club. She is a talented pianist, and also participates in competitive show jumping, expressing her love of horses. She volunteers in the Community Kitchen, which provides meals to low-income families and the homeless of Paducah. She also went to El Salvador in 2017, where she helped construct a home.

Sarah has chosen Murray State University as her college and plans to study Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She has obtained the University Academic Scholarship, which covers 20% of her tuition.
