Best Friends

Finding your best friend is one of the most important things you can do in life. Good friends can pose as best friends, but the difference is that friends can come and go, but best friends are with you for life. There are few who are lucky enough to find their partner in crime at a young age, and have them by your side through your whole life.

A textbook example of two best friends who have known each other most of their lives, and who will be best friends for the rest of their lives, is Maddie Harper and Erin Byassee. They have quite literally grown up together. They became BFFs in the first grade, when they had class together, and they have been friends for about eleven years now. Eleven years full of fun days at the lake, going out to eat together, and just enjoying each other’s company.

Memories you make throughout your childhood shape who you become as an adult. And most of the memories you make in your youth are made with your friends. So it is very important to find the right friends. When asked what their favorite memories together were, Maddie replied quickly by saying, “One time I went to Gulf Shores with her and it was a lot of fun. We got to spend a lot of quality time together.” And Erin responded with a funny memory the two of them shared at Venture River when they were kids. They also discussed how they even took some of their senior pictures together because they are so important to each other. It is critical to make time to make memories like this with your best friend, because when you find your best friend, it is like finding a soulmate that you will have for the rest of your life.

These two girls are role models and a perfect example for how two best friends should be. They have been best friends almost their entire lives and they know that they will be friends for the remainder of their lives as well. They truly can’t imagine life without each other. We would all be lucky to find a best friend who loves us even half as much as these two love each other.
