The McCracken County Baseball Team had a very successful spring break. The Mustangs won the USA Baseball classic, playing five teams in the tournament. The first game, they defeated Florida Christian 3-2. The next day, they lost to Memphis University 5-1. Then they played Collierville and defeated them 8-3. The next game was against Christian Brothers High School, which they won 13-1. The last game, they played Ventura California and won 2-0. Another great victory for McCracken was when Luke Seed pitched a perfect game against Mount Juliet. They won 2-0. I spoke to Nathan Bynum (centerfield) who said it feels great to win the tournament. I also asked him if he wanted to say anything to all the kids out there to which he said, “Keep grinding”.
