Nicolas Cage

Nicolas Cage

In the wake of the announcement of the new Teen Titans Go! Movie, “Teen Titans Go! To The Movies” I was in awe. The film includes a star studded cast with stars such as James Corden, Tri-bi Halsey, and hip-hop superstar, Lil Yachty. Some of these casting decisions may come as a surprise, but the one cast member I was most excited for was Nicolas Cage. We all know him. The man of mystery with an ever receding hairline, and a voice that makes you question, is he yelling or whispering? His filmography is abundant, appearing in almost 100 titles over the span of his fruitful career. Some of his classics include Con-Air, World Trade Center, Ant Bully, National Treasure, and the epitome of his career Ghost Rider. Let’s face the facts, NIck Cage is a star. He brings a shimmering light and hopeful grace into any film he appears. His on the bounds, yet loving relationship with his father in National Treasure (played by John Vogt) is humorous, and heartbreaking. Their relationship keeps you on the edge of your seat and beats you down and builds you back up in ways you could never imagine. Truly fantastic! Nick Cage is one of the finest actors working in hollywood, but will he make this seemingly awful animated show’s film adaptation a success? We may never know, but I truly believe, that once again, our national treasure… will provide.
