The SkillsUSA team recently went to the state conference in Louisville Kentucky. The prestigious event was filled with ceremonial proceedings and honorable speeches. Among the speaker were Kentucky’s Lieutenant Governor as well as the Secretary of Labor. Some students will progress to the national competition, which will also be held in Louisville. Sam Vasseur (Junior) competed in the Television (Video) Production competition. He said “This is a truly incredible event. Each year, my mind is blown by just how incredible this competition is.” Sam placed third in his event.
