As the holiday season grows near, it’s time for people to watch the classics; Home Alone, Rudolph, Frosty, and more. But one of them is a cut above the rest. Talking about none other than Christmas Vacation. 

Being arguably one of, if not the, funniest Christmas movies out there, the film has a perfect mix of funny moments and sweet ones as well. One of the scenes depicts the main character, Clark, watching old home videos of Christmas day when he was a child (after getting left behind while the rest of the family went out to eat and shop, adding to the humor factor). 

One of the peak moments in the film is Clark’s breakdown. It really ties the movie together, as you can feel his frustration but the way he rants adds humor to the entire situation. 

All in all, Christmas Vacation has the perfect mix of raw emotion and comedy, perfect for the holiday season.
