Slammed Review

Slammed+Review

The book Slammed by Colleen Hoover is a very emotionally moving novel. Her book tells the story of a girl and her family grieving a deceased loved one, and due to that loss, they have to move across the country to an environment that is completely different from what they are used to. In the first couple of chapters, she describes what each family member is feeling at the time of their loss when the oldest daughter, Laken, meets the man across the street, Will. They instantly click and are both grieving a similar loss, so they are able to connect on a deeper level than most people can. Then, the two love birds have a huge dilemma causing them to fall apart.

There are mixed feelings of rage, hurt, love, and sadness. But what happened? Why are they no longer together?

On top of that, Laken is now having troubles at home that make the situation worse for her. This is a book full of emotion that it becomes nearly impossible to pull your eyes from, no matter how bad it gets.

After this book, there are two more that follow the story.

To sum it up, this book will leave a lasting impression on you for days after reading it. It is truly an amazing book!
