Letter From the Editor – December

Caroline Dew, Senior Editor

Dear MCHS,

The new year is approaching, and that means it’s time for people to begin making new year resolutions. It’s common that people don’t keep their new year resolutions – but I think it’s important that you support people in keeping these resolutions. Don’t immediately brush your friend’s new year resolutions aside, simply because “most people don’t keep their resolutions”. The New year is a great time to start over, and having a new year resolutions is fantastic! What makes or breaks a resolution is support. If you have people who support you and think of your goals as legitimate, then you’re way more likely to follow through. If your friends are dismissing your goal and not being supportive, you probably won’t succeed. Surround yourself with supportive people, and have a great 2018!
