I walked in the door at 7:30 AM to stay with my grandparents while my mom was at work. Usually, my grandfather is sitting in the living room waiting for me to arrive but he is not. The room feels heavy something is not right. My mom told me to go down the hall to go to his room I was not going alone. When we walked down and opened the door there he was on the floor, my best friend had passed away. The man I looked up to had left me alone, all I felt was confusion.
