A True American Classic

Tombstone: a review
A True American Classic

When looking for a movie to watch most people struggle to find whether they want to watch a movie with action, comedy, or drama. The movie Tombstone directed by George Cosmatos and Kevin Jarre has it all! Wyatt Earp, who is played by Kurt Russell, is a stern sheriff who carries a tough guy reputation and tends to finish problems before they start.

Doc Holliday, played by Val Kilmer, is the second main character who is known for drinking heavily and having witty, humorous comments that lighten up serious situations. The movie itself tells the tale of the first police department in Tombstone Arizona and their struggles with rambunctious cowboys who love trouble. There are many duels and events that will draw action viewers in.

As someone who likes action and comedy, this movie did a great job of expressing both.  Between the wittiness of Doc Holliday, the drama of Wyatt trying to find a lover, and all the action scenes, this movie really does have it all. This is a rare movie that I could genuinely recommend to everyone and would strongly encourage watching it.

I would rate this movie a five out of five stars.
