After 54 years of acting, Jackie Chan has finally been given an Oscar. On November 12, at the Eighth Annual Governor’s Awards, Chan was given an honorary Oscar, presented by Tom Hanks, Michelle Yeoh, and Rush Hour co-star, Chris Tucker. Hanks said “Great acting comes in many different forms, but if you are an actor you always know it when you see it.” Trained in Judo, TaeKwonDo, Karate, and more, Chan always performs his own stunts proving his dedication to his art, and now he has something to show for it. Chan said “…making over 200 films, I’ve broken so many bones, finally this is mine.”
