Delaney Green, The Crimson Chronicle Staff Writer
Delaney Green is a McCracken County High School freshman who enjoys drama as an extracurricular. She expresses herself artistically by writing and making art, which in turn, is probably what made journalism seem so interesting to her. Another thing that makes her stand out is her taste in music, stating that her two favorite groups are “probably Greta Van Fleet and The Lumineers.”
Because she’s a freshman this year, when asked if she had any memories here, she said she didn’t. Which would make sense because, as she mentioned, “It is too early in the year.” However, most people, when asked about her, have said that she is very kind and caring, so it most likely won’t be that hard for her to make memories with people and make friends.
Despite all of that, she has stated that she feels nervous when someone is reading her work (which is very relatable for a lot of other people.) Green joined this class because she thought it was pretty interesting, but when asked if she could continue seeing journalism later on in her life she wasn’t very sure, responding with “maybe.”
Green also seems to be a nature person, which could possibly be an important influence that could be seen in her writing and art. People have said that she likes to spend a good amount of her time doing things outdoors.
